Today Xiaomi launched its latest phablet Mi Max 2 at an event in China. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 comes in Golden color and is priced at 1699 yuan (Rs.15949 approx.) for the 4GB RAM with 64GB Storage version and the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version costs 1999 yuan (Rs. 18770 approx.). It will go on sale in China from June 1st. There is no any information about India launch. The main highlights are, the big screen with 1080p resolution and a big battery, as well as new one-hand use design.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a full metal unibody design with rounded edges and is just 7.6mm thick. It also has dual stereo speakers compared to a single speaker in the previous model. Mi Max 2 feature a 6.44-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is power by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB / 128GB storage with expandable with microSD.
This dual SIM device runs on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0. On the camera front, it has a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor and dual-tone LED flash. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front camera. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a huge 5300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. A company promises a user can charge the Mi Max 2 up to 68 per cent in just over one hour. It has dual charging module that offers better heat dispersion. Xiaomi promises up to 18 hours of video playback or 57 hours of talk time on a single charge. I also come with a fingerprint sensor on a back side.
