Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE: With the launch of their latest iPad Pro M1, Apple has set the bar very high for its Android counterparts. While not a lot of brands compete in the high-end tablet category, Samsung has been giving a decent vying to the iPad’s for a few years now. The South Korean giant has put its Galaxy Tab S8 in secrecy and is unlikely to break the cover anytime soon. While there is no information around the upcoming flagship tablets, multiple reports in the past have suggested that the company is working on a successor of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.

Initially, it is said that the device will be called Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite. The same device has passed through Bluetooth SIG revealing the Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite moniker. But, according to a Google Play Console listing, it turns out that the company has settled for Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE naming. The device is expected to be launched as an upper mid-range tablet offering. This was first spotted by MySmartPrice.

According to the listing, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE could sports a 12.4 inch IPS LCD display with a resoultion of 1600 X 256 pixels and is grounded on Android 11 out of the box. The device could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC and 4 GB of RAM. This corroborates with the Geekbench listing of the same that was spotted very recently. While there is no information around the battery capacity on both Geekbench and Google Play Console, the device is expected to support 44.5W fast charging but it might only ship with a 15W charger.

The device packs in all the Galaxy Tab features like S-Pen support and also arrives with a dual-camera setup on the back of the device. Reports also suggested that the device will be made available in 5G, 4G, and WiFi-only variants and comes in various colors including black, pink, silver, and green. On paper, the device looks like a worthy contender to lower-costs iPad and obviously does not stand a chance to compete against the likes of iPad Airs and iPad Pros of the world.

Samsung’s FE devices are always great. We have seen the Galaxy S7 FE in the past and the recently launched Galaxy S20 FE is everyone’s favorite. With these specifications and good pricing, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE is no exception to the company’s blockbuster FE trail. While Samsung is expected to hold a huge event on August 19 to launch Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Flip 3, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE might not be announced during the same event. We expect the device to launch sometime in June.
