Are you are among those people who have been using Xiaomi phones since their inception? Yes, then there’s good news for you!

Xiaomi launched its first smartphone, Mi 1 almost 10 years ago in 2011 in their hub, China. Mi 1 was undoubtedly the best Android smartphone launched at that time, offering flagship-level specifications at a minimal price, something which OnePlus did almost 3 years later.

Now, Xiaomi has decided that they will refund everyone who supported the company during their initial days by pre-ordering and buying Mi 1. According to the numbers given out by Xiaomi, this sold almost 1,84,600 units of Mi 1 at a price of 1,999 yuan. And if you do the maths, Xiaomi made a profit of 370 million yuan by just selling their first smartphone.

However, Mi 1 buyers are not going to get proper hard cash in their bank account, instead, Xiaomi has decided to give them online store credit, as per a machine-translated image attached to Xiaomi’s Weibo post suggest. Whatever the way be, it’s good to know that Xiaomi is acknowledging the customers who have supported them since their initial days.

Moreover, this isn’t the only hot talk coming from Xiaomi this week. The firm has also launched the Mi Mix 4 and Mi Pad 5 in the market this week.
