Telegram is probably one of the most popular messaging applications in the country. One of the major reasons behind this popularity is the features offered by this messaging app. For example, you can share even a huge file with a size limit of up to 2GB. Additionally, you can also create a group with up to 200,000 members which is a lot to be honest.

One another popular feature of Telegram is its live streaming capabilities.that allows you to broadcast your video to over 1,000 people at once. Now, Telegram has extended this limit and now you can add an unlimited number of users on your live stream.  Other noticeable updates include the option of previewing messages before forwarding them, and the enlarged size of thumbnails when scrolling the bar.

It seems like increasing and improving their video call and voice call capacities is a top priority for Telegram as the company has been rolling out updates related to the same for the past two years now. With this new update, Telegram has removed the limit of users on a video call. Additionally, you can also Live Stream in Telegram Channels, and do group video calls. Theoretically, this means that you can invite every person on this planet on your video call or livestream.

Another important update is that Telegram now makes forwarding messages an easy affair as you will not be able to see the message on a preview window before you hit the send button. Additionally, you will also be able to use several customisation options like hiding the caption, and hiding the name of the sender.

Users now also have the option of jumping from one channel to another when scrolling through one-to-many channels when they reach the bottom of any channel.

Other upgrades introduced by Telegram include:

  1. Trendy stickers are now displayed before the “Recently Used” emojis/stickers.
  2. Android users will now be able to see larger previews of a sticker suggestion.
  3. You also get a “choosing a sticker” option present on the top of the chat.
  4. If you open the comment thread of any new message, you will be able to see the total number of unread comments.

Every user who currently uses the Telegram application will be able to update to the Telegram v8.0.
