Realme just launched its latest 9 series phones Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ in the Indian market. The new Realme 9 series smartphones will succeed the Realme 8 series and take forward a stylish design, decent performance, and budget price tag. Realme 9 Pro+ Features & Specifications
The Realme 9 Pro+ is the top variant in the new 9 series with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary lens, 90Hz AMOLED display and most important Light Shift design.
The backside of the phone is quite similar to Realme GT Neo 2, including a rear camera hump with two big cameras module, a small camera housing, and an LED flash. The Sunrise Blue colour variant offers a Light Shift design, which means it can go from blue to red at different angles. The Midnight Black and Aurora Green colour variants don’t offer the Light Shift design.
The Realme 9 Pro+ comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with a 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 90Hz Adaptive refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. Under the hood, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset paired with a Mali-G98 GPU. For processing support, it has 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.
On the camera department, there is a 50MP primary lens with a Sony IMX766 sensor and OIS support. Along with this, there is an 8MP 119° secondary camera and a 2MP 4cm macro camera. The camera also supports ProLight Imaging technology, Optical Image Stabilization to reduce blur and advanced AI features, like AI Noise Reduction Engine 3.0 for better low-light imaging. The phone also comes with Street Photography 2.0, 90s Pop Filter, Peak & Zoom, and more camera features. For selfie and video calls, there is a 16MP front camera.
The Realme 9 Pro+ runs Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12. Additionally, there’s support for NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner with a heart rate monitor. On the connectivity side, there is a dual stereo speaker, a 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 6, X-axis linear motor, Vapor Chamber Cooling system, Dolby Atmos and more.
In the battery department, the phone has a 4500mAh battery, which supports 60W SuperDart Charge fast charging.
Realme 9 Pro Features & Specifications
As the name suggests, the Realme 9 Pro is tone downed variant. The Realme 9 Pro has the same look and design, colour options, and the same Light Shift design.
The Realme 9 Pro comes with a 6.4-inch punch-hole display with 2400×1080 pixels resolutions and support for a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that can switch between 30Hz/48Hz/50Hz/60Hz/90Hz/120Hz depending on the content. The phone has a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
It is powered by Snapdragon 695 5G chipset with support for several 5G bands, and also has liquid cooling. The Realme 9 Pro has up to 8GB of RAM and up to 5GB of dynamic RAM expansion.
The phone runs Android 12 with Realme UI 3.0 out of the box. On the camera department, it has a 64MP primary camera, along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera onboard here. There is a 16MP front camera for video calls and selfies. The camera features include the Street Photography 2.0, improved Nightscape mode, and more.

The Realme 9 Pro+ will be available via Flipkart and the Realme official website via the first sale on February 21, while the Realme 9 Pro will be available on February 23.
