After too many rumours and leaks, Apple’s new affordable iPhone SE 3 is finally here, the successor of the iPhone SE 2 that was introduced back in 2020 comes with a 4.7-inch HD Retain display with Haptic Touch and still retains the Touch ID fingerprint sensor below the display. However, the new SE 3 replaces the A13 Bionic with the A15 Bionic and also adds 5G support.
iPhone SE 3 Specifications:
The new iPhone Se 3 has one major highlight, which is the 5G network support. As expected, the SE 3 is powered by the A15 Bionic chipset also found on the latest iPhone 13 series. As usual, there’s no word on the phone’s RAM and storage, but we expect to get details on this soon. For storage, we have three options: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage.
In the photography department, there is a 12 MP rear camera with 4k video recording with features such as Smart HDR4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Portrait mode, and a 7MP selfie camera with up to 1080p HD video recording.
On the design front, there is nothing new. The iPhone SE 3 takes design cues from its predecessor and features an iPhone 8-like design, which means you get thick bezels and the same single rear camera module.
The display size also remains the same, maybe some users like compact 4.7-inch screen size, but the majority of users think it’s too obsolete for 2022. It has a Haptic Touch and still retains the Touch ID fingerprint sensor below the screen. It is a layer made of glass and ceramic for better protection from drops or accidents.
The new iPhone SE 2022 comes with improved battery life. It also supports wireless charging and fast charging.
