As I mentioned earlier, the design of Boult BassBox Q5 is unique. However, I agree that it doesn’t look very premium. It has a unique design but lacks a fascinating appearance. Nonetheless, it’s practical. The speaker is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry, especially with its backpack-friendly design.
The build quality is good too. It features a soft rubberized finish all over the speaker, giving it a strong and durable feel. Additionally, it has an IPX5 waterproof rating for outdoor use, protecting it from dust and water splashes. However, since the speaker grill is quite large, I still recommend keeping it away from water.
Another feature I liked is the open lace provided on the top of the speaker, allowing you to hang it anywhere you want easily. Overall, the Boult BassBox Q5 combines practicality and functionality in a portable design.
Connectivity & Features
The best part is that it comes with the latest Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Additionally, it supports FM radio, SD cards, and USB pen drives, which makes it a truly portable Bluetooth speaker. I have tried all the modes, including Bluetooth, FM, and USB, and they all work perfectly.
