Intel, the processor-manufacturing firm has announced that they are going to launch a complete new package of high-performance graphics hardware, software, and services, under a new brand dubbed, Intel Arc. It is going to be the company’s first gaming dedicated GPU series, and it is expected to launch next year. However, there aren’t many details out regarding the specs of the graphics cards, but Intel took on the Arc official website to share some details regarding the GPU line via a 1 min short video.

Intel Arc GPU Specification
The Intel Arc GPU is designed to unleash the gaming imagination in both high-end gaming PCs and gaming laptops. Named, “Alchemist”, the GPU under the Intel Arc series is expected to release in the first quarter of 2022. Intel has also unleashed the codename of other GPUs that will be launched after Alchemist, and their names are – Batllemage, Celestial, and Druid.
The upcoming Alchemist GPU comes with a plethora of gaming features that are enough to attract a hard-core gamer towards it. Some of the key features are – hardware-based ray tracing, DirectX12 Ultimate, variable-rate shading, artificial intelligence-based super sampling, and mesh shading. The Artificial intelligence-based super sampling Technology will make sure that the GPU doesn’t feel any kind of pressure while upgrading the low-resolution graphics to higher resolutions.
The Alchemist GPU is built around Intel’s own Xe HPG microarchitecture which is efficient to deliver scalability along with high-end graphics features. Furthermore, the Xe HPG microarchitecture is a combination of Intel’s HP and HPC microarchitectures. In the video shared by Intel, the Arc GPU was seen running high-end graphics games like Forza Horizon 4, Metro Exodus, PUBG, Crysis Remastered Trilogy efficiently and without any kind of frame drop and lag.
There aren’t any details available on the availability of Arc Alchemist GPU other than that it will launch in the first quarter of 2022. More detail regarding the upcoming GPU series will be released by Intel by the end of 2021.
