Philips QT3310/15 Unboxing
The Philips QT3310/15 comes with fairly decent packaging on the lines of the other Philips trimmers. On the top, we get a user manual and warranty card. We also get a small brush for cleaning the blades as well as a small micro USB. Design, Build, and comfort
On the design front, the Philips QT3310/15 looks very stylish and classy. Its black and light green colour combo is really pleasing to the eye. By the way, it looks almost the same as the other Philips trimmers, such as QT4005, and QT4001, the only difference being the size and build quality. On the whole, this trimmer is very slim compact and light-weight weighs only 112 grams and has an ergonomically designed grip.
The build quality of this trimmer is quite good, which means there is very less vibration The noise to is on par with other trimmers in the same price range. Overall, the trimmer is very comfortable and I did not find any problem in the design and build of the Philips QT3310/15.
Performance
The Philips QT3310/15 comes with 10 different length settings from 1mm to 10mm, which can easily change with the help of this wheel. If you want a clean shave, with a trim of 0.5 mm you need to use this trimmer without its comb. However, do take care while removing and putting back its comb. This is because if you accidentally break the comb while doing this, the trimmer may become virtually unusable!
It comes with the stainless steel blade and it’s very sharp. But don’t worry the blade has rounded tips, so it will not irritate your skin. Overall, the trimmer is skin-friendly, so you can also use it on other body parts. Ohh, I forgot to say one thing. The Philips QT3310/15 is not waterproof. But it is good that its blade is easily detachable. So you can easily clean it under the tap of water. And after getting dry put it back in such a way.
Battery
Let’s talk about the battery performance. So I would like to say that the battery life is not so good in this trimmer. The Philips said that we will get a 30 minutes cordless use after 8 hours full charging. But during my testing, I got a power backup of just 20 to 22 minutes after the full charge. This trimmer takes 8 hours to be the full charge, which is too much. But the actual charging time also depends on your charging adapter. There is a green led indicator light above the power button which looks quite good. The LED light will provide you charging indication.
Final word
So after fully reviewing this trimmer, I would say that this is quite stylish, lightweight, compact, and powerful. If you are a frequent traveller, then this trimmer is best for you because you can charge this trimmer with help of your power bank, laptop, and smartphone charger. The price of this trimmer is changed frequently. When you are purchasing this trimmer and you found the price is more than Rs.1300, then It’s not a value for money deal. Because if you add 100 Rs extra at this price you can get QT4005, which is best in this price range. If you see this trimmer with a price of Rs1000 to Rs.1200, then buy it immediately because you get the right product at the right price.
