Players Unknown Battleground or PUBG or BGMI is by far one of the most popular battle royal and action-simulation games in India. After being banned in the country for almost an year, PUBG made its heroic comeback in India, but this time as Battlegrounds Mobile India or BGMI. Now, Krafton, a South Korean game development company that has also developed PUBG and BGMI, has announced that they are planning to launch the all new PUBG: New State battle royal game in the country.
The PUBG: New State battle royal game was introduced in early 2021 and the Alpha testing ended just a few days ago. Krafton said that during the initial testing phase, the company received a lot of bug reports, crash reports, feedback, and suggestions from the actual gaming community. The company added that they are analysing these issues, and they are trying to fix the bugs, and crashes to make the game experience much better.
The game developer said that The PUBG: New State battle royal game is based in the future, and several years have passed since the original PUBG or BGMI game. It is the year 2051, and anarchy rules while numerous factions are busy fighting each other. The fight has taken the form of a huge battleground with several state-of-the-art technologies that have been developed by humans in the future. In order to survive in this battleground, you need to adopt new tactics.
Minkyu Park, Executive Producer of PUBG: NEW STATE said that, “Knowing that PUBG IP from KRAFTON is enjoying countrywide popularity in India and our Indian fans have high interest in the launch of PUBG: NEW STATE in India, we at PUBG STUDIOS are doing our best to offer a battle royale experience only we can deliver based on the stable service for our Indian fans.”
