Realme GT 5G, GT Master Edition Launched In India With 120Hz Refresh Rate, 5G, Virtual RAM Extending Feature

Today, Realme launched their new 5G series smartphones for the Indian market – Realme GT, and Realme GT Master Edition. Both the smartphones in this GT series feature a 120 Hz super AMOLED display and come along with a triple rear camera setup at the back. The major difference is that Realme GT 5G runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. On the other hand, the Realme GT Master Edition is powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 778G chipset. Furthermore, the Realme GT Master Edition comes in a special version that features a unique back designed by Naoto Fukasawa.

Realme GT Features and Pricing

The Realme GT comes with Android 11 out of the box and runs on the latest Realme UI 2.0. The smartphone offers a 6.43 inch full HD+ super AMOLED display along with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Further, the screen offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits, 20:9 aspect ratio, 1080×2400 pixels resolution, and a 360 Hz touch sampling rate. The latest Realme smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and comes in 12 GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128 GB and 256 GB ROM variant. The best part about this smartphone is that it offers the option of extending the RAM virtually by using the onboard memory up to 7 GB.

Coming to the camera, the Realme GT comes with a triple rear camera setup at the back that includes his 64 Megapixel Sony IMX682 main camera, an 8 Megapixel camera for ultra-wide shots, and a 2 Megapixel macro sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone offers a 16 Megapixel camera in front. The smartphone carries a 4500 mAh battery that is backed by 65W SuperDart Charge fast charging technology.

Lastly, in terms of connectivity and sensor, the smartphone features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, USB Type-C port, 5G, 4G LTE, GPS, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, and in-display fingerprint scanner.

The 8/128 GB variant is available at a price of Rs. 37,999. Whereas, the 12/256 GB variant is available at a price of Rs. 41,999.

Similar to Realme GT, the Master Edition also offers the option of extending the RAM virtually by using the onboard memory up to 5 GB.

The 8/128 GB variant is available at a price of Rs. 27,999. Whereas, the 8/256 GB variant is available at a price of Rs. 29,999. The smartphone also comes in a 6/128 GB variant that is priced at Rs. 25,999.

The Realme GT will go on sale in India from 25th August. Whereas, the 8 GB RAM variants of Realme GT Master Edition will go on sale from 26th August. However, the details regarding the availability of the 6GB variant of Master Edition will be shared later by Realme. Both these smartphones will be available for purchase on Flipkart, Realme.com as well as offline stores.
