Redmi Watch Launched in India for Rs. 3999, with Inbuilt GPS, 1.4-inch color display

Xiaomi has today launched the latest budget smartwatch Redmi Watch in the Indian market with a price tag of RS. 3999. The Redmi watch comes with a rectangular design, color touch display, and inbuilt GPS. It available in Blue, Black, and Ivory color options with matching straps, and there is also a separate olive color strap. The watch is available on Flipkart, Mi.com, starting from May 25th.

Redmi Watch Specification

The Redmi Watch comes with a rectangular design, as mentioned above. The smartwatch packs in a 1.4-inch TFT LCD display with a resolution of 320×320 pixels, and brightness of 350 nits. According to the company, there are more than 200+ watch faces available for this watch (more is coming).

It also comes with a bunch of sensors for tracking sports and workout activity and for health. There’s a continuous PPG heart rate sensor here, along with a three-axis accelerometer sensor, geomagnetic sensor, gyroscope, barometer, gyroscope, and an ambient light sensor. On the connectivity department, the Redmi Watch also packs in Bluetooth 5.1 and supports inbuilt GPS and GLONASS for location services.

The Redmi Watch offers many fitness and health features, Like – continued heart rate monitoring (intervals of 1min, 5 min, 30 min), sleep tracking. Other than that the smartwatch comes with the usual fitness and activity features, including 11 different sports modes.

Please note, the Redmi Watch doesn’t come with a SpO2 sensor, which means you can’t track your blood oxygen levels with it. That’s the biggest downside of this smartwatch, because most of the smartwatch and fitness bands in this price range have the sensor, and it’s one of those things that feels exceedingly important to have during these pandemic times.

The smartwatch has a 230mAh battery inside, which the company claims are enough to last for 10 days on a charge. The watch also shows the app notifications from your smartphone. The incoming calls will also show up on your watch screen and there is an option to reject or mute the call. The find my phone, music and camera control also available.
