Samsung Galaxy M12 receives NBTC Certification: Samsung Galaxy M12 is one of the upcoming devices from the company and this particular device is very busy bagging a lot of certifications. Not so long ago, the device had received approvals from the Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG. Samsung Galaxy M12 is also certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The device is also spotted on Geekbench revealing some of its specifications. Now, Galaxy M12 has received certification from Thailand’s Nation Broadcasting Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) authority.

According to the NBTC listing, the SM-M127F/DS Samsung device will be launched as the Galaxy M12. The listing did not reveal anything except for the fact that it is an LTE phone. While the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth certifications had revealed a few specifications of the device 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 11 OS. The aforementioned listings further revealed that the model numbers SM-M127G/DS and SM-F127G/DS are also associated with Galaxy M12.

Coming to the BIS listing, again, it did not reveal anything about the specifications, but FCC has confirmed that the device will come back with a 7,000 mAh battery. With that being said, the device has recently passed through the Geekbench benchmarking site revealed some of its key specifications. Galaxy M12 has managed to score 178 in the single-core test and 1025 in the multi-core test. Moreover, the Geekbench listing also reveals that the Samsung Galaxy M12 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM.

We can expect the device to launch in more RAM and storage variants. As long as the software is concerned, the device runs Android 11 OS out of the box which is definitely a great thing. Given that the device runs One UI, do not expect a lot of Android 11 sweetness. The CAD renders of the Galaxy M12 revealed that the device comes with a 6.5-inch display with an Infinity-V notch. On the back of the device is where you can find a square-shaped camera module.

The device will feature a Quad-rear camera setup with a 13 MP primary camera sensor. The secondary is a 5 MP sensor which could be a telephoto unit with 2X optical zoom. The other two cameras are not worth discussing, but it’s worth noting that they are 2 MP units. On the front, we can expect an 8 MP unit for the selfies. The device comes with a Type-C USB port for charging and retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. Now that the device is bagging a lot of certifications, we can expect the device to go official in January.
