Xiaomi just introduced the Xiaomi 11T smartphone in the global markets, and the smartphone giant has just unveiled a new smartphone in China recently. The smartphone is dubbed as Xiaomi CIVI, and it is loaded with premium features like a higher refresh rate screen, powerful processor, and more. In addition to the Xiaomi CIVI, the company also unveiled the Xiaomi Watch Color 2, with over 100 workout modes, and a circular dial. Let’s have a look at them in detail.
Xiaomi CIVI: Specifications, Features, and Pricing
The Xiaomi CIVI features a 6.5-inch OLED Full HD display with a higher 120 Hz refresh rate screen. The device looks pretty slim and has curved edges. The smartphone features a punch-hole display with a 32 MP shooter at the top centre, and the bezels are really thin. The smartphone features a triple camera setup on the rear end with the main 64 MP sensor, an 8 MP sensor for ultra-wide shots, and a 2 MP shooter for macro shots. The front-facing camera is a 32 MP shooter with a Samsung GD1 lens for amazing selfie performance. There are also some cool features like dual-soft LED flash, autofocus capabilities, and AI-based skin renewal technologies that can work on reducing blemishes, and spots on your face.
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 778 chipset that supports 5G connectivity. The processor is based on 6nm technology, and it was recently seen on the Iqoo Z5 that was launched in the Indian market just a few days ago. The processor is supplemented by up to 12 gigs of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone draws its power from a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 55W fast charging.
In terms of connectivity options, you get support for 5G connections, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, and Bluetooth v5.2. You also get an in-display fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, and surprise surprise, a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on the latest Android 11.
The CIVI would be offered in three colour variants: Light Blue, Pink, and Shiny Black. The phone is offered at a price tag starting from 2,599 Yuan. The top of the line variant is offered at 3,199 Yuan and it offers 12GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Watch Color 2: Specifications, Features, and Pricing
The Watch Color 2 is the latest entrant in Xiaomi’s line of smartwatches. The Watch Color 2 features a stunning 1.43-inch display with a 60 Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 326ppi. The smartwatch features a heart rate monitoring sensor that keeps a track of your heart rate the entire time. You also get a SpO2 sensor that keeps a track of your body’s oxygen levels. You can pair your smartwatch with your mobile phone to know about your sleep details.
The smartphone also features over 117 different workout modes that would help you track your physical activities with great accuracy. You will also be able to use the smartwatch to receive calls. The Watch Color 2 is powered by a 470 mAh battery, and the company claims a battery life of about 12 hours on continuous usage.
The Watch Color 2 is offered at 999 Yuan or about Rs. 11,400. It is worth noting that both the Xiaomi CIVI smartphone, and the Watch Color 2 smartwatch has been launched only in China, and we do not know whether Xiaomi plans to launch these devices in other markets across the globe.
