After the announcement of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, the smartphone giant has finally released its most anticipated tablet series, Xiaomi Mi Pad 5.
The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 series consists of two models, Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro. The Pad 5 only runs on Wi-Fi, whereas, the Pad 5 Pro supports Wi-Fi and 5G whenever it is available. The Pad 5 is powered by Snapdragon 860 processor, whereas the Pad 5 Pro is backed by Snapdragon 870 processor. These numbers are enough to indicate that these are going to be the most powerful Android tablets ever launched in the market.
If we talk about the display, both the Xiaomi tablet features 11 inch LCD display with 2560×1600 screen resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, HDR 10, True Tone, and Dolby Vision. Both the tablets will be running on the latest MIUI and will deliver a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The True Tone Technology used in the tablet will help the device to adapt to the surrounding colors and brightness.
Now, if we talk about the camera segment, the Pad 5 offers a dual-camera setup with 13-megapixel as the main camera, and 8 megapixels as the secondary camera. On the other hand, the Pad 5 Pro features 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel secondary camera.
Lastly, in the battery segment, both these tablets have impressed the users. The Pad 5 features an 8720 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging support. Whereas, the Pad 5 Pro offers an 8600 mAh battery with 67 W fast charging support.

The base variant of Xiaomi Pad 5, i.e. 6/128 GB is available at a price of CNY1,999 ($310). The 256GB variant will cost CNY2,299 ($355). On the other hand, the best variant of Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro, i.e. 6/128 GB is available at a price of CNY 2,499 ($385), the 6/256 GB variant will cost CNY2,799 ($430), and the top variant of the Pro model, i.e. 8/256 GB is available at a price of CNY3,499 ($540).
